WVU Press Release
In this 30 seat classroom, a ceiling mounted projector and retractable, motorized screen are used to display a networked PC computer (with a built-in DVD drive and front USB ports), or a document camera. As well, a laptop computer or portable video device may be displayed by connecting them to the local input panel at the lectern. The room’s audio system includes a gooseneck microphone and a wireless lapel microphone.
For collaborative teaching, Percival 335 includes four small group collaboration stations for students to "Plug and Play" connect their own mobile technology, which the instructor can then display individually to each station or show on multiple displays for sharing. The displays can also show the same image as the main projection screen or show a new instructional source.
The phone is located inside the multimedia lectern. The number is 6-5051.
